Review of Happy River Cafe
The union movement is one of the most talked about things in Australia, you're either pro or against. Even with all the flak unions get they still continue to deliver to their communities.
Today we visited one of the most iconic places in the west. The Happy River cafe at the Footscray Community Arts Centre which was established after local unionists, activists and artists got together to build what is today's art scene in Footscray. You can read more about it here:

True to FCAC vision of access to all their meals are wonderful and prices cheap!!! I doubt you'd find a better breakfast anywhere for these prices.
Fitted with a picnic front lawn you can eat at a table or bathe in the sun's rays on the lawn with toys and activities for toddlers.
FCAC is definitely a must visit location in Melbourne's west.
