.15023/.17698 - 0.17898 - Sold Out - Smart Trading - Strength - No Losses - Investment - Steemit Death - Centralization - 20/635

in #leo5 years ago (edited)

I was only able to acquire 18.056 Leo yesterday. I put that up for sale for about .17898 today.

I would describe my new and current trading style as smart trading although I do have a big sell order at 0.17979 and if that sells today I might go rambo style on some sellers. lol

I think the Leo token did extremely well last night. I think there was actually another weekly dump but the price did not really go down at all.

I would like to avoid any losses for the Leo token particularly on the buy side.

@shortsegments did a nice blog post about his Steemleo Investment

@dalz had a nice post Top LEO Earners – September 2019

I think this is the highlight:

I found both the these posts on the Steemleo trending page which I am also on. There are also in my feed but it's nice to not even have to be logged into my account to see quality posts. I don't think the Steemit trending page is as good. If you do think the Steemit trending page is as good or even nearly as good as Leo I would like to hear your thoughts as to why.

I think Steemit.com is now Dead on arrival/DOA. :(

The stats are really not that horrible yet although you can see a downward trend in posts.

The downward trend in posts is not nearly enough for me to declare Steemit.com Dead On Arrival. The key information to make that decision came from researching the @ocdb account. https://steemd.com/@ocdb

Right now it has 4,793,917 power and it's killer powers are extremely strong. Bots may be completely illegal soon.

I do think Steemit could theoretically survive without bots but the other problem with OCDB is the accounts it upvotes and downvotes.
Do any of you seriously think a post giving money to a bot is better than my posts?
It upvoted that post right after it downvoted one of my posts.

I think the real problem with the OCDB account is the posts that it does upvote. If it was me I would probably just upvote every single steemleo post instead of upvoting any of the posts it upvotes. I am not a fan of random fluffy posts. You can check the upvotes it gives here. https://steemd.com/@ocdb

Personally I much prefer a more decentralized platform like Steemleo.com but it's your choice and you can choose which platform to use.

I'm still not a fan of downvoting and I only do retaliatory downvotes.

There's other stuff but I think this post is long enough. lol

It is cool that you enjoy SteemLeo!

Thanks and thanks for the big upvote. I wish I could also enjoy Steemit.com way more. It's sad that we even need Steemleo but we definitely do!

Not that horrible? Post count is now basically cut in 2 after half a year.

Good point but I think it would be even worse without OCDB which I feel is "not the greatest" curator. lol I think they promote some content that is not that great and encourage it but yeah.

Hopefully things can get turned around though.

What are you going to do? I'm surprised you are unstaking your Leo tokens.

I might sell all Steem the moment it pumps. Right now I do not see a future for it. It was always a playground for whales. However now with the downvote harrasment, they have gone too far.
I have been told that we should not be in it to get Steem, but only for the social aspect. That's great, so we can get rid of most of our Steem. Not much reason to keep it.

You could convert it to Leo but yeah otherwise. :(

Yeah you can just hold a small amount of Steem and do delegations. THey should get pretty cheap although everyone might just delegate to the OCDB killer bot.

I wonder how profitable the killer bot is now? Hopefully you don't delegate to it but I'm curious what the ROI is that people are getting.

I think the Leo token did extremely well last night. I think there was actually another weekly dump but the price did not really go down at all.

After exit of two PAL mods, one of the last PAL mods have started power down of 30K today, LEO may struggle due to the incoming big dump if there are no buy pressure similar to last few days.

Oh wow. Thanks for the very important intel on that one. Is that about 2300 a week? I guess I should be cautious and try and hold steady and not to any rambo trading. lol It might be hard for me to avoid that though. lol
Let me know if/when you want to buy any more Leo. I almost feel like a HODLer right now when I am more of a trader. lol I am "pretty bullish" on Leo and maybe I should be Hodling though. lol

I almost feel bad for the Pal people especially if they are going to switch from Leo to Pal. Have you ever talked to the power down person?

LEO power down takes 4 weeks if it is similar to PAL: 7500 a week. After first week it will be cleared.

"Crap" lol
Will you be able to put in a bid and buy some? If you buy a 1,000, I buy a 1,000, Diverse buys 1,000 and SBI buys a 1,000 maybe we will be ok? There are some scalpers I could let know in case they don't follow my blog.

I will try some measures to counter the incoming dumps. These are the last headwinds for LEO: the last of PAL mods ;)

I have some Leo I can sell you but hopefully I can sell it at ask and get back to the buy side in time for the dump.
Did you see the pump attempt I did today?

How many more PAL moderators have LEO?

I think this is the last one. Check dtrades comment.

Bots cannot be made illegal, ocdb doesnt control anything other than the SP in their account. Automating processes is what humans do to avoid work - making that illegal would be counter productive anyway 😅

Yeah and there's no censorship on the Steem blockchain. lol

Censorship must be defined, but most of what does exist here is at a front-end level, not blockchain. There is censorship at steemit, perhaps, but not on Steem, at least by my definition.

I guess by sensorship I would be referring to the "encouragement" to leave. lol

I think the attack bots did a good job at getting thousands of people of Steemit. Maybe most of them deserved it but I think a lot did not.

Thank you for posting from the https://steemleo.com interface 🦁

You are way funny. I was going to do a post last night on how Steemit is the new web censorship forum until I got home and found out about my sister. Maybe later I can pull it together enough to finish those thoughts in a post.

Disagreement with bid bot abuse not censorship. Neither is downvoting ordinary abusive comments and content. Dissent is a necessary aspect of conversation, and the zero-sum game of the reward pool makes downvotes an integral part of the economic system.
