Why most of the Filipino's use English in Steemit Instead of our own language?

in #language7 years ago

Hello steemians! I am Filipino and I am using English when writing a blog here in steemit.abc-916665_1920.png I thought you cannot post here using other language that's fool right? because almost all of the Filipino users here use English instead of our vernacular language which is Tagalog. Until yesterday I saw a Bisaya post. Anyway Bisaya is one out of 170 langauges used in the Philippines, but there are only two official language in our country. The first language is Filipino, and our second language is English.

Steemit have many users in the world because of its platform. stock-vector-set-of-social-people-on-world-map-with-speech-bubbles-in-different-languages-male-and-female-faces-322881275.jpg did you know that 375 millions of people are using the English language and more than 50 countries are using English as their main language and second language just like the Philippines.

By using English many people can understand what we are posting here. You can use Tagalog but how you can share that to people in the other country what you want to share if they can't understand what you wrote. I think the main reason why is, the communication. Using English can result to faster and efficient communication to each and every one.
