RE: Comment contest: Comment affairs #54; Something children have taught you about life.

I think the most beautiful thing we learn from children is to have a pure heart and to forgive quickly. Many times it happens that we scold them for something or treat them harshly. They may be angry for a while, but they do not hold anger in their hearts for long. After a while, they come back to us, smile and talk and mingle as if nothing had happened.

This always makes me think that if adults too, like children, learn to forgive instead of holding grudges in their hearts, many relationships would never be bad. Children teach us that life is beautiful when we do not take small things to heart, share love and start each new day with a pure heart.

I invite @ridwant , @oneray and @paholags for participating.

It's true, as you said. Children don't hold grudges and readily accept apologies. I've also learned two things from children: innocence (honesty) and practicality. They find it very difficult to lie, and they don't elaborate on their statements. Children always think concretely and express their likes and dislikes based on facts or reality.

They don't process information and then convey it in a convoluted way like adults. I think these are two important lessons for us. Thank you for inviting me to this comment contest, my friend.

Practical attitude, my daughter was angry because I was late taking her to school. (01/22/2025)
