Thoughts on Veganism
Vegans are against exploitation of animals. Taken to the extreme some advocate having nothing at all to do with animals. Not just closing slaughter houses but let them all live in the wild.
Devotees of Krishna also are against exploitation of animals, of anyone really, Devotees of Krishna encourage engaging everyone, people, people who are like animals, animals, all forms of life in devotional service.
The devotee of Krishna understands that we are not these temporary material forms but are spiritual beings entangled in the illusory energy.
The real protection, the real non-violence is to engage in devotional service. To think the problem has been solved by stopping violent exploitation is incomplete.
