Friday at Itae

Back with my first official blog
So, this one is going to be about my friday night at Itaewon.
So, almost everyone who has been to Korea will probably know about Itaewon. It's arguably the most trendy places in Korea right now and most of the popular bars, resturants, and clubs these days will be around here. Itaewon would also be the perfect place for foreigners because this place is filled with them and most of the koreans in this area are open minded and can speak English. I would also like to mention that Itaewon is for the slightly older crowd (mid 20's to 30's).


Literally as you exit the subway out into the steeets, you'll notice the huge selection of bars, clubs, lounges, and resturants. Because of this, it can be pretty difficult to pick where to hang out. I suggest thay you guys go bar and club-hopping on your first times here to find the place for your taste. However, one place I highly recommend you guys go is a place called Thursday Party.
I couldn't take any pics inside because this place is literally PACKED. Anyways, this place has I would say a 1 to 1 ratio of Koreans to foreigners so it is the perfect place to find both diversity and comfort. You see people making out, playing beerpong, foosbal; just a fun place and also, an awesome place to make some friends.
My friends and I actually hung out at a new bar called Awesome Lounge.

Now i know, the name sounds pretty stupid, but I promise that its actually legit. First, the place is huge with 3 floors. I had a group of 12 people and we managed to get a table on the third floor. They sell what typical korean drinking resturants sold: traditional korean fast foods like fish cake soup and bingsoo and alcohol like beer and soju. However, what made it fun was that there was a dj on the second floor blasting music.

Now, this was actually an earlier part of the night. A few hours in, people started dancing and it was a fun time.
So, this was just a short, chill experience/view of Itaewon. Next time, I'll take you guys into the clubs here. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this and upvote if you did! And oh yeah, for the next blogs, i'll try to take some better and more informational pics! See ya later!
