예전에 저는 책을 많이 살 때는
인터넷 서점으로 사곤 했는데
요즘은 자주 안 사는 대신
서점에서 사게 되네요
옷은 골라서 입어보고 산다.
책도 마찬가지로 서점에 가서 펼쳐보고 사게 된 것은 ‘더럽게 기분 잡친’ 경험 때문이다.
‘종속이론’ 책자가 처음 나왔다기에 ‘얼른’ 샀다.
세 장을 넘기고는 쓰레기통에 던져버렸다.
교수라는 작자가 이것저것 짜깁기를 한 모양새인데, “이거야 원서를 읽는 게 훨씬 쉽겠구먼.”
