)Celebrating Korea's free from colonization, South Korea is packed with an exciting cultural agenda. Exactly 72 years ago, Korea managed to get the freedom that has been long dreamed. Then 72 years later, Korea (South) has now become one of the fastest growing countries in the world.
Many cultural events are held to celebrate independence. One of them is a film festival held at Independence Hall of Korea. The Hall, located in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do Province, hosted a film festival featuring about 9 films about the struggle. Not only that, today visitors can watch the air show from the Air Force, Black Eagles. Then coupled with the appearance of a marching band concert from the military.
While in other places that is, Seodaemun Prison History Hall, today held Seodaemun Liberation Day Festival. This festival invites visitors to see the prison as well as re-commemorate the freedom fighters who received torture in the prison while fighting for independence of Korea.
Another thing in the Museum of History of Seoul, to commemorate the day of independence then held a classical music concert. At the same time at the Seoul National Cemetery opened an exhibition featuring photos and videos of the independence movement. The event was then connected with a concert at Gwanghwamun Square.
The government and all the relevant parties in South Korea there continue to invite the Korean people not to forget, and continue to commemorate the spirit of the independence fighters.
