RE: POWERup - 50 - Stripy
At least she allowed you to laugh.
Mine strict one wasn't too fond of children. Not her own, not her grandchildren, not animals either.
I remember how she forced me to eat the food. I couldn't stow it away. She placed the plate on a shelf in the basement and served it to me with the next meal. Cold of course.. All the butter or fat looked.. 🤢
I still didn't eat it, also not the next days. Perhaps that was the moment she realized I would never empty that plate with mold on it... Never, ever, nooit niet. 🤐
Unlike most people I can live days without food perhaps the result of malnutrition as a baby/toddler? I still hear them say I had to eat because the children in Biafra were dying out of hunger. I never understood why they didn't send my foot to them.
🥴 parents and grandparents are weird.
I'm very sorry, I hope at least you were mischievous and made her life impossible.
The story of the children in Biafra reminds me of something; probably around that time they started making us believe that donating a few coins would solve the problem.
Are they strange? Yes, they are, and I hope I don't become like them; I tell myself this every day to reassure myself.
Regarding Stripy, there was a typo due to the phone's autocorrect. It was called "Scacciapensieri," and it was a container of cartoons including Stripy, broadcast in the 70s by the Swiss network RSI
Capodistria is a memory of mine from the TV network TV Koper-Capodistria, which also broadcast in Italian, and probably replicated the Swiss program.
🇨🇭🧀🌻😃
I never made anyone's life impossible. I say nothing just look at them. If that doesn't work after years I leave.
This duo in their strange world was part of wednesday afternoon tv 😁 I watched how they rolled over the screen - black and white still knew they were red and blue.
La Linea changed 🤔
