Pray for Kenya

O God of all creation
Bless this our land and nation
Justice be our shield and defender
May we dwell in unity Peace and liberty
Plenty be found within our borders

My priority in loyalty is

1. God
2. Family
3. Country

And it is in that order my commitment lies. I have great emotional connection on all these three and i would do anything for them, including sacrifice! That is how deep my love runs. It saddens me a great deal to see how some people work hard to destroy any of these institutions, if you have nothing to live for then life becomes useless!

Kenya my country is a blessed nation, i have never travelled but i believe we have the best weather in the world, nature has soo perfectly balanced our seasons that, sun is sunshine, cold is cool breeze and rainfall is showers and rainbows. This is the best place to be in the whole world. Our natural resources are intact, the wildlife blossoms - tourists come from far an wide to behold the majestic king of the jungle in his natural habitat. The eighth wonder of the world is here, the wildebeest migration! The beautiful sight that is the rift valley and the lush green forests are truly an inspiration.

Would you believe that we have the largest animal park in the world inside the our capital city of Nairobi? Well, we do - and if that isn't a blessing then i don't know what it is.

Kenya's economy is the biggest this side of East Africa, and it has group exponentially large in the last couple of years, the government has undertaken huge infrastructure projects targeting roads and rails. We have for the last few years seen the land scape change in an unbelievable ways. The construction of super highways and a world class railway has opened up the country in unprecedented way, people have found it easy to move their wares and access new markets, real estate has blossomed and businesses set up in turn creating thousands upon thousands of employment opportunities among the citizens.

Fill every heart with thanksgiving

The last couple of months have been extremely challenging for the Kenyan people! The country has experienced a sharp division among its citizenry to a point where succession topic reigns! This is the time that neighbour turns against neighbour, friends becomes foe and we retreat to our respective tribal cocoons. The elite political class is mainly to blame for this, they instead of selling their manifestos to all in a peaceful manner - seek pitiful support from the gullible voter and incite to violence. The political leader is viewed as a small god to his supporters!
We as a people cannot abstain from the blame for we allow to be used!!

We need peace, love and unity in our country. We therefore request you take a minute to pray for our country - we have been a host to over 1 million refugees from across East Africa and we it would a great shame we took that path.
Our national anthem is a prayer for our nation and we pray that peace will pravail.
