Today I learned about Kabadi, an Indian sport where the assailant holds his breath, and the defenders hold hands.

During the game a single attacker enters the opponent's half-field, where he is not allowed to breathe. In order to demonstrate to the judge that he is not cheating, he must shout "Kabadi Kabadi Kabadi" as long as he is on the other side of the field.

The goal of the attacker is to touch as many defensive players as possible, while the goal of the defenders is to attack the attacker and prevent him from returning to the other side of the field. In order to encircle an attacker, defenders usually hold hands with one another.

The sport is very popular in India, Nepal and other South Asian countries. The professional league has over 400 million viewers.
