The Rise and Fall of the Japanese Empire

Japan is an island by the sea, full of volcanoes and it is beautiful. In the year -1,000,000,000 Japan was not in existence, but in the year -40,000 Japan was in existence and you could walk through it.

Some people walked through it, and it became warmer and trees grew on the land. So now those people on the island were basic sort of hanging out in between the mountains eating nuts off trees, using the latest technology like stones and bowls dingdong is the outside world and they had technology from the future like really good metal and crazy rice farms. Now you can make a lot of rice really quickly.

That means if you own a farm, you own a lot of food which is something everybody needs to survive, so that makes you King.

Rice farming and rice kingdoms spread across the land and the most important kingdoms were Izumo, Chikushi, Kibi, hi, Yamato, Koshi, Kenu but Yamato was the most important rule by a heavenly super person an Emperor for sure.

The new Prince Shotoku wanted everyone to try this new religion “Buddhism” from Baekje.

“Please try this religion.” He said, but everyone rejected the idea. He convinced them again and again but the Japanese refused. so the religion was put in place and all the rules that came with it forcefully.

Then the government was taken over by another clique. Naka Noe (Tenji), emperor Kotoku. They made some reforms like making the government govern more, making the government more like the Chinese government, which is the government that governs more.

The dipshit which was the name given to the Japanese back then was then changed by the Chinese to SUNRISE LAND (Nihon) which means JAPAN and that was how the name JAPAN came into existence.

The palace was the most protected place in Japan and the then ruler didn’t give attention to the walls outside the palace. So if you lived outside the palace how are you supposed to protect yourself from criminals?

Samurai become organized and powerful, more powerful than the government. So they made their own military government in Shogunate in year 1192. The emperor was still the emperor but the Shogun head of the samurai was actually in control.

BREAKING NEWS: The Mongols have invaded china “we’ve invaded china, said the Mongols, please respect us, or else we might invade you as well” to the Japanese. Okay, said Japan. So the Mongols came over, ready for war and died in the first attempt. So they tried again to fight the Japan. It was a long war but the Japan defeated them again.

So the emperor in 1336 overthrown the shogunate, then the shogunate overthrew him back and was crowned Ashikaga shogunate. The emperor can still dress like an emperor if he likes.

It’s time for who is going to be the next Shogun? Usually, it is the shogun kid, but the shogun does not have a kid so the shogun brother could be the next Shogun. Unfortunately, the Shogun eventually had a kid.

The Shogun’s Kid or the Shogun’s Brother?

The Japanese had to vote, and everyone voted so high that the palace cut on fire and burnt down. The shogun actually didn’t care and the whole country broke into pieces. Everyone is fighting with each other for local power and it is anybody’s gain.

Everyone was fighting for their own interest forming different clowns. Unfortunately, a small clown wins (Oda), and the leader of that clown Oda Nobunaga invaded the capital and took over power in Kyoto.

In 1582 almost halfway through conquering Japan but someone who works for him kills him and took over power and then someone else who works for him kills him and took over power again which is Toyotomi Hideyoshi who finishes conquering Japan.

He took everybody’s swords and made some rules which say “no having a sword or a gun. No climbing the social ladder, pay taxes.”

He went to invade Korea and China but he failed and died. But before he died, he told his council to take care of his 5year old son until he is old enough to rule.

But the council had a meeting and concluded that it is not going to be his kid but one of them because of the grownups.

So it happened to be Tokugawa Ieyasu who was way more rich and powerful than the others and a lot of people supported him.
