Panera update...

in #its6 years ago

178 pounds, cholesterol 283. Still taking Plavix, Clopidogrel. Have to keep those stents open.

Did not begin Panera May 2017, to lose 22 or 27 pounds. That was not a goal, by Summer 2017. There was no new bathing suit to get into; no new Speedo.

I was standing around industrial scales, listening to men speak fluent Spanish fluently, when they decided to step on the scales. I stepped on the scale, because they stepped on the scales. I was 180 pounds. It was Thanksgiving 2017.

Two years went by from 2016; I had not started Panera. But by 2018, I had not seen my cardiologist in two years. My Lipitor supply ran out long before. I have taken Lipitor, or Zocor, on and off since 1995.

Coincidentally, I have not weighed less than 200 pounds since 1996. Go figure? The first sentence makes sense. Life is starting to replicate itself. I remember 225 cholesterol. Read elsewhere. I remember my first Atlanta driver's license, height and weight. Now there's new numbers. Good news: my good cholesterol's up, almost double. I don't want to take this $1,400.00 shot, which cuts my 200 bad cholesterol in half. Not time yet.
