In the beginning of 2018 ICO projects managed to raise $3.3 billion
Rating Agency ICORating reported: for the first months of 2018 around the whole world ICO has attracted more than $3 billion. Last year the total amount raised was $6.1 billion.
According to Specialists in the calculations were counted only funds raised by the ICO ended without indicators of pre-sale, rounds of fundraising in the Telegram and simple rounds of funding.
At the same time, only half of the projects managed to attract more than $100 thousand, and on average all ICOs lasted from one and a half to two months.
It is interesting that the bulk of the companies conducting ICO works in the blockchain infrastructure, areas of e-wallets, exchanges, financial services which geographically belong to the American jurisdiction.
For example, in the U.S. 59 project as a whole raised almost $583,8 million, in Singapore in the framework of the 34 projects have managed to raise about $468,1 million, in the UK in 26 projects were invested $99.7 million, as for Russia ICO was conducted by 13 projects and they managed to collect about $20.8 million.
