Non è finita.../Still here...

Cari amici, qui ancora postumi del covid. Per entrambi nella mia coppia. Spossatezza senza precedenti (che me ne ricordi), il che si traduce in ore, ore e ore del giorno trascorse a dormire. Il che significa pure lavorare meno, molto meno del solito. Se non altro, per la prossima settimana speriamo riuscire a vaccinarci per l'influenza invernale. Quanto al covid, l'amministrazione cittadina ha divulgato una notizia: a maggio ne uscirà una variante peggiore di questa attuale. E non soltanto, dato che ci hanno avvisati di un ritorno di dengue (che comunque è tipica delle zone tripicali, quindi questa malattia, trasmessa dalle zanzare aedes aegypti, non è affatto una novità). Il guaio è semmai che la variante emorragica può rivelarsi fatale (sia pure evitando accuratamente l'aspirina, che non va mai somministrata in caso di dengue), così come le varianti zika e soprattutto chikungunya si trascinano pericolose sequele. Insomma, nelle zone tropicali si prospetta un pessimo inverno.
Per il momento, spero solo di riuscire a ripigliare la mia attività sportiva gratuita (il corso di capoeira), anche se potrebbe saltare a causa delle incessanti piogge torrenziali...

Dear friends, here again covid hangover. For both of us in my couple. Unprecedented extreme fatigue (until I can remember), which translates into hours, hours and hours of the day spent sleeping. Which also means less work, much less than usual. If nothing else, by next week we hope to be able to vaccinate for the winter 'flu. As for the covid, the city Major House has released news that a worse variant than the current one will come out in May. And not only that, since we have been warned of a return of dengue (which is typical of tropical areas anyway, so this disease, transmitted by Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes, is by no means new). The trouble is, if anything, that the haemorrhagic variant can prove fatal (even if one carefully avoids aspirin, which should never be delivered in the case of dengue), just as the zika and especially chikungunya variants carry dangerous sequels. In short, a very bad winter lies ahead in tropical areas.
For the time being, I only hope to be able to resume my free sporting activity (the capoeira course), even though it might be skipped cause the unceasing heavy rainfall...
