La chiacchierata di qualche giorno fa sulle tempistiche di una vacanza mi ha fatto riflettere sul come ottimizzare i miei periodi sull'isola.
Forse in un lontano passato ho fatto una vacanza piu' lunga ma sicuramente quella dell'autunno scorso lunga 47 giorni e' stata una sorta di record.

Da un lato il dubbio e'; "Reggero' per un periodo maggiore?", dall'altro pero' mi rispondo; " Se mi rompero' i coglioni vorra' dire che mi spostero', andro' al mare, al campo, in giro per la mia provincia, in altre provincie ecc ecc...".
In questi ultimi anni ho diviso i periodi a Cuba in 2 parti, una autunnale e un'altra primaverile.
Il comprimere il tutto in un solo unico soggiorno (a questo punto continuare a chiamarla vacanza non ha senso) potrebbe avere i suoi bei vantaggi.
Parlo di unificare i due soggiorni in uno solo di 100/110 giorni, se reggo.

Si riducono i costi.
Intanto un solo biglietto aereo, un solo giro di taxi, un solo Viazul ed, eventualmente una sola navetta per Malpensa qualora dovessi partire da quel aeroporto.
Gia' soltanto qua' saltano fuori 700/750 euro mal contati.
Anche perche' il viaggio non e' leggerissimo; Valgioie-Caselle(Malpensa)- Parigi( Madrid)-Avana-Las Tunas tutto di un fiato sono 34/35 ore in giro per il mondo, farlo una volta all'anno potrebbe essere meglio che farlo due volte.

Sulla casa de renta i vantaggi sono minimi, gia' pago una cazzata.
Ovviamente cambia lo stile del soggiorno, i ritmi, le uscite e di conseguenza i costi che, in percentuale, si riducono.
Il riscaldamento di casa che rimane spento visto che si parla di inizio dicembre/20 Marzo, quindi altre palanche che rimangono nel borsillo.
Un volo in meno, ahorro energetico e nessuna renta di scooter e saltano gia' belle che fuori i denari per la motorina nuova.

Quindi 4 mesi di stagione, due mesi e mezzo a casa, 3 e mezzo a Cuba, altri 2 a casa e si ricomincia.
Questi sono soltanto pensieri in liberta', ci dovro' pensare bene perche' tutto quel tempo a Las Tunas non e' uno scherzo, per ora ho retto bene all'aumento dei giorni ma qua' si parla di un periodo davvero lungo.
Non vorrei ridurmi alle panchine del parque...

Sono (e con me alcuni di voi) in uno di quei periodi della vita dove non vanno sbagliate le scelte, la sabbia nella clessidra scende inesorabilmente, sprecare il tempo e' un delitto.
Poi certo...posso al limite acquistare soltanto il biglietto di andata e il ritorno prenderlo poi, pero' preferirei avere tutto ben definito.

Da un lato mi intriga questa faccenda di stare a Cuba per un periodo cosi' lungo, dall'altro un po' mi "spaventa" anche se usare questo termine con Cuba mi sembra un tantino inappropriato.

THOUGHTS IN THE WIND

The chat a few days ago about the timing of a vacation made me think about how to optimize my time on the island.
Maybe in the distant past I took a longer vacation but definitely the one last fall that lasted 47 days was a sort of record.

On one hand the doubt is; "Will I be able to last longer?", but on the other hand I answer myself; "If I get bored it will mean that I will move, I will go to the beach, to the camp, around my province, to other provinces etc etc...".
In recent years I have divided my time in Cuba into 2 parts, one in autumn and another in spring.
Compressing everything into one single stay (at this point continuing to call it a vacation makes no sense) could have its nice advantages.
I'm talking about unifying the two stays into one of 100/110 days, if I can stand it.

The costs are reduced.
In the meantime, just one plane ticket, one taxi ride, one Viazul and, possibly, one shuttle to Malpensa if I had to leave from that airport.
Here alone, 700/750 euros come out badly counted.
Also because the trip is not very light; Valgioie-Caselle (Malpensa)- Paris (Madrid)-Havana-Las Tunas all in one go are 34/35 hours around the world, doing it once a year could be better than doing it twice.

On the house for rent, the advantages are minimal, I already pay a lot.
Obviously, the style of the stay changes, the rhythms, the outings and consequently the costs that, in percentage, are reduced.
The heating of the house that remains off since we are talking about the beginning of December/March 20, therefore other money that remains in the pocket.
One less flight, energy savings and no scooter rental and the money for the new scooter is already flying out.

So 4 months of season, two and a half months at home, 3 and a half in Cuba, another 2 at home and we start again.
These are just free thoughts, I'll have to think about it carefully because all that time in Las Tunas is no joke, for now I've held up well to the increase in days but here we're talking about a really long period.
I don't want to end up on the park benches...

I am (and some of you with me) in one of those periods of life where you shouldn't make the wrong choices, the sand in the hourglass falls inexorably, wasting time is a crime.
Then of course... I can at most just buy the outbound ticket and buy the return ticket later, but I'd prefer to have everything well defined.

On one hand, this whole thing about staying in Cuba for such a long period of time intrigues me, on the other hand, it "scares" me a bit, even if using this term with Cuba seems a little inappropriate to me.
