Today I want to show you these decorations that are often around the spanish houses.

Oggi vi presento queste cupole decorative che si trovano spesso intorno alle case in Spagna.
They are available in all colors and give the properties a sense of elegance.
Ci sono in tutti i colori e danno alle propriretá un senso di eleganza.
I like them very much and, during my travels, I toke a lot of pictures.
Mi piacciono molto e cosí, durante i miei viaggi, mi sono fermata spesso a fotografarle.
My favorite is the blue one :-D

They remind me of plants' bulbs, as if seeds where life will grow out of ! :) I dont think these types of decorations are popular in Australia, but it's super wonderful to see them in your photographs at your part of the world :)

Anche in Sicilia sono molto presenti. La dominazione spagnola ha lasciato molti elementi del suo stile archittettonico. Le "pigne" rappresentano la forza dell'albero sul quale crescono. Quelle in ceramica policroma vengono collocate presso i cancelli di ingresso come portafortuna. Allora... buona fortuna!

Veramente belle, sembrano delle coppe, oppure delle stupende ed eleganti pigne, davvero molto gradevoli
