MY FIRST PORTRAIT PAID WITH SBD, THANK YOU @stea

Hi dear friends,
in the last days I have not found a second to make a post, but finally I' m here;-D
One of the reasons I was busy was 'cause a few weeks ago wrote me @stea90, asking me if there was a chance to make a portrait of his mother by rewarding me in STEEM or SBD.
I was very happy with his request, because there are also many other good artists in Steemit, and we quickly reached an agreement.
So @stea90 sent me the photo he had chosen, and I must say "Congratulations! What a beautiful woman!", so I started to work :-D

Ciao cari amici,
negli ultimi giorni non ho trovato un secondo libero per fare un post, ma finalmente rieccomi;-D
Uno dei motivi per cui ero occupata risale a qualche settimana fa quando mi scrisse un messaggio @stea90, chiedendomi se c‘ era la possibilità di fare un ritratto di sua mamma ricompensandomi in STEEM o SBD.
A me fece molto piacere la sua richiesta, perché ci sono comunque tanti altri artisti bravi su Steemit, e trovammo velocemente un accordo.
Cosí @stea90 mi spedì la foto che aveva scelto, e devo dire „COMPLIMENTI! Che bella donna!“, e io mi misi al lavoro :-D

On a brown-coloured cardboard I started sketching with chalks and charcoal, already creating a background of different shades of grey.

Su un cartoncino di tonalità marroncina iniziai a fare uno schizzo con gessetti e fusaggine, creando già un fondo di diverse tonalità di grigio.

And going into more detail, I added as tools of work also water and brush.

Sempre andando più nel dettaglio, si aggiunsero come strumenti di lavoro anche l‘ aqcua e il pennello.

And that was the end result! Although the drawing is softer than on the photo :-D

E questo fu il risultato finale! Anche se devo dire che in verità il disegno è più morbido che sulla foto :-D

After managing to make the portrait without technical problems, an unexpected problem arose: not finding a roll of cardboard by turning every place in Montelupo and Empoli! Not even the mail! In no stationery shop! And not even a triangle :-(
Finilly I convinced the gentleman of the upholstery to remove the leather from a roll to reach the goal :-D
But than I had the same problem to sent this roll, they where six people discuting 15 minutes .... than we found a solution also for this.

Dopo esser riuscita a fare il ritratto senza problemi tecnici, si presentò un problema inaspettato: quello di non trovare un rotolo di cartone girando tutto Montelupo ed Empoli! Nemmeno alla posta!!!!! In nessuna cartoleria!!! E nemmeno un triangolo :-(
Alla fine convinsi il signore della tapezzeria a levare la pelle da un rotolo per riuscire ad arrivare all’obbiettivo :-D
Ma lo stesso dilemma ci fu anche alla posta per spedirlo.... sei persone a discutere come poter spedire un rotolo, e questo per 15 minuti.... infine trovammo una soluzione anche lí.

Now I hope only that it will arrive!!!
Thank you again @stea90 for this good idea and I hope that your mom is happy, but I imagine that if her son makes a gift like this she will be touched:-D

Ora c'é solo da sperare che arrivi, l'ho pure fatto assicurare !!!!
Grazie ancora @stea90 per questa bell'idea e spero che tua mamma sia contenta, ma immagino che se il proprio figlio fa un regalo così uno si commuove:-D
