Introduction to me...

Hello, My name is Justin and this is my very first post on Steemit. I didn't really know where to start or what to say when I found out so I decided to tell you a bit about myself.

I am a Las Vegas native. I grew up here with two hard working parents who didn't have everything nor were they able to give me everything they wanted for me; like any parent who hopes to give their child, but I turned out great. I love to read and write and am a gamer of course, but also enjoy cooking. All my life there have been people who influenced and shaped me into the man i am today, even now the choices i make with friends and family help to make me a better person.

For many years i beleived i was an only child but in fact i have 3 half brothers and a half sister. Not to mention all the friends who are like family because we all know that having the same blood doesn't make you family.

My love for games, reading, writing and cooking come mostly from my father. He was a chef for 17 years, he plays the guitar and has an amazing imagination and creative gift. My mother was a waitress with lots of kindness and compassion, she had a very difficult childhood but it made her into one of the strongest women i know. The love i have for music is the fault of both my parents....

Growing up in my house around the holidays was a sight to be seen, we didn't have a fancy house or expensive things but we had plenty of fun, great food, music, and lots of love. we always decorated the house for Halloween, or cooked up a storm for Thanksgiving, but my favorite time of the year has to be Christmas. We'd decorate the house inside and out, bake treats for all our friends and build gingerbread houses. I think the reason I love Christmas the most is due to the true genuine appreciation people show when you help them.

As a kid in Las Vegas i loved games, and cartoons, and anime (not the same thing), arcades, and the old "Wet 'n' Wild" which was infinetly better than the one we have now.

Im a huge believer in Metaphysical and alternitive healing. I am a collector of crystals and swords and love almost all things Japan. I believe in the power of a few words like Reiki and PLUR but that is for another post.
