Be very welcome to steemit social network. I've been here since February of this year and I'm really enjoying. I participate here actively every day. Here, we can learn a lot by reading other people's posts about content that interest us and we can post our own content, helping people within our areas of expertise, training our writing, making a kind of "therapy" because, writing helps us to reflect on our knowledge and we will be slightly paid for it. Hey @viterbo :) Thank you sooo much. Do you know anything about the rules to join the openmic category? I have seen it also on steemit, but i didn't know if original instrumental songs belong to this category, too :D
I am not part of the organization but I follow it very closely. I also make music and someday I will participate doing some cover.
What I know is that only own performances are allowed. You can not upload a video with someone else playing, you have to be yourself who plays the song (that is, you must appear in the video while playing or singing).
In the video you must mention 3 things: the word "openmic", what week you present yourself (currently it would be week 92) and what is your account name in steemit.
Then you do your magic on the piano and that's it. The song does not have to be original. You can present covers but the original songs I think have a separate prize.
The truth is I have not found out much, but I know I'll do it soon because I also want to participate.
You should definitely participate. I have heard some melodies that you uploaded and I love them!

Sadly I can't play piano at all :( If I were given a choice between being good at any instrument in the world, I'd pick piano though.

You're in for a treat then! It's an epic show but it might take some time to get the viewer really hooked since both the cast and world are so huge. I'd say it takes 3 seasons to get to a state of "This series is the best thing ever" :)

Also i hope you could upload some of your paino compositions because i so love to listen to instrumental musics. Be it piano, acoustic guitar, or mixes. I would love to hear your music. ❤️
Hahaha - yes, it's absolutely funny :D I just uploaded two of my latest songs, which i recorded in June. On my Youtube Channel i have many many many piano music songs :D I don't know if its cool just to upload them here two. I still don't know how to handle it. But here on DTube will definitely follow some new songs soon, because - i don't know why - but i have a creative flow in those weeks :D
