My Presentation "I invite you to meet me"

in introduceyourself •  10 months ago

I am an enterprising woman and lover of freedom. I am a very noble person, responsible, cheerful, believer in God and I love helping and working with people and especially with children. Sorry for my translation, I use online translator because I do not speak English.

"Now comes the most important thing, everything I've told you is wonderful, but it was not always like that, I did not get up one day from bed with these results that I enjoy today"

I tell you, I'm from a beautiful city called Cd Bolivar, which is caressed by our great river called Orinoco, is located south of a beautiful country that is called Venezuela. Describirte my land alone I vast two words "is beautiful" and I promise to give you that walk sometime although I will not be at fault if you fall in love with it.

Continuing with my story, I grew up in a working middle class family of the time, because from one time to date many things have changed in what country situation is concerned, my mother was a housewife and father driver of a truck where both With much sacrifice little by little we were given education and security until my youngest brother and I were teenagers, then my parents separated and my mother assumed the burden of the family, I logically for being the oldest support her with my part-time jobs while during the night I studied my university career while she worked in the family house cleaning. With much sacrifice we were able to get ahead, I graduated as a lawyer and with my briefcase full of faith and hope I went out into the world to knock on doors in search of opportunities. I was working 2 years in my beginnings as a professional in a state security department, I knew wonderful people and the experience was exceptional, after a while I started to feel that the same work did not meet those expectations, I was looking for something more contact with people , I was looking for that emotional connection that fills us and seeks other spaces.
Then I worked for 5 years in a department of interurban transport in my city, waooo a crazy but very pleasant, the contact with people was very big but like that connection, that force that makes you feel that it is not a job but something more than it makes you enjoy and fills you fully what you do every day. I decided to give myself a time, a small holiday retreat, hehehe my first vacations in all these years, I took all my savings and in the company of a great friend we traveled to Europe, to Spain. 7 years of work for 2 weeks of holidays but they were worth it because I knew a wonderful land, I shared with very nice people and I returned to my beautiful country with the recharged energies although with few coins in my pocket and unemployed ajajaja ..!
After arriving home that same afternoon I went out for a walk to a nearby square in the same historical caco where I was born and grew up.

My tension is called a quaint little house because I noticed that it was full of children running and jumping all of them. As I approached I made contact with some children, all very receptive as well as the people in the house. I never imagined that this space existed and so close to my home, it was a shelter for street children, while I got a steady job I dedicated myself to free exercise in the morning hours and my afternoon hours were I used to dedicate myself to this shelter, I looked for local collaboration for supplies, food, medicines. Little by little those hours of collaboration were filling my space to such an extent that to this day for more than 10 years I have dedicated myself to providing integral assistance to children and adolescents with the support of people dedicated to the cause, volunteer personnel , civil society, local community and my wonderful husband with whom I have already 2 years of happy union.

Mi Esposo y Yo.jpg

He, who gives me strength every day, gives me encouragement, gives me encouragement to continue, I confess it is not easy and even more so with the country situation that we are going through but it always tells me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and only we must move forward. My husband in Engineer, his work commitments have always kept us at a distance but we look for ways to carry this situation, he just as I am always in search of financial support for these shelters that is no longer one but many. Because today I am part of the multidisciplinary team of the IDENNA that is the Institute of Rights of Girl, Boy and Adolescent.

I am very interested in this portal, my husband and some friends recommended it to me beyond some economic contribution that will serve to continue supporting this noble cause, but also to make known the realities of these children in street situations that hardly they exercise their rights, they do not receive health care, education and protection, on the contrary, they are victims of violence and discrimination. And thank God there are wonderful people in these shelters, in projects of surrogate families and little by little in this space I will comment and make known in detail the work we have been doing. Blessings to all and here a great friend..
