Meeting JC

I have recently met, in Crans Montana (Switzerland) Mr Jean Claude Biver, of course I took a selfie. He's the President and CEO of Hublot, the watch company, he is also President of the Watch & Jewellery division of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy).

The master of watchmaking and marketing, that who he is, a top notch business man, an icon, whom not only advertises the swiss luxury industry via watchmaking but also through cheese making.
Yes!
He doesn't sell the cheese though, he distributes it after his conferences around the World.

A smiling boss that, together with his friend Jacques Piguet, in 1981 he bought the watch brand Blancpain for 22'000 swiss francs (19'000 Euro) and sold the company 10 years later for 60 million.
In 1993 he took the driving wheel of Omega and turned it around and finally in 2004 he brought Hublot at the same level of the star firms.

He's Mister Five-Ten, similarly to how Carlos Ghosn (CEO of Renault) is know for (Seven-Eleven), Biver wakes up at 5 and does not stop working until 10 in the evening. He really has the passion, it is obvious. In fact a famous quote of his goes:

"With passion, everything is possible"

I love this man, he's a real role model for me. He taught me to work hard for achiving my goals.

Another of his that inspires me the most and I believe can sum up well what this man is reallt about is the following:

"I think an entrepreneur is a sportman/woman, not necessarily in the physical exercise, but rather in the head. Being a sportman means endurance, being disciplined and especially learn from mistakes. Sport is probably the best school, not only for entrepreneurs, but for all people"
