Town Mouse Country Mouse

We used to live in Seattle until our Cub started to be old enough to run around, then we decided that he needed to be free range in the woods, surrounded by nature. To that end we have been homesteading in the Coast Range of Oregon for just over two years.
For fun, I just took my dear woodland Cub into the city for a visitation. It was amazing to see the city through his eyes. He loves construction, cranes, architecture, vehicles and traffic. The skyscrapers totally blew him away.
Here is is looking at the new (under construction) bio domes that will be office buildings for Amazon.com
It is very sweet to see the city through his eyes, and we are both grateful that we got to return home to the woods and the embrace of nature!
I hope you post more about your journeys. My wife and two toddlers recently moved to acreage in Missouri, after being suburbanites for a long time. The youngest always comments about things in the city when we go into town. The oldest, with autism, usually asks if we are going back "the farm". The move to nature has been the best thing we have done to date. I truly look forward to more posts about you and your family's journeys.
Awesome - thanks for reaching out! I am just getting a hang of this Steemit thing (actually not really lol) but I would love to build community here!
I love sharing about our experience on the land, and I would love to hear about yours!
nice title, it nice to be in more rural areas sometimes
