I'm here to chew gum and be an amazing Steem community member, and I'm all out of gums !! :)

My name is Amit. I hail from a beautiful village close to India-Bangladesh border. My educational conditioning includes Mechanical Engineering and MBA. To be honest I was sulking through most of my MBA education since it was astronomically overpriced and did not equip me with too many real life skills. The internet taught me more than classrooms!

After I realised how reductionist the "system" we inherit is, I did what any logical minded human would do - I quit my job and started travelling. My job as a Senior Manager at Amazon paid my bills alright but did not satiate my thirst to come alive- fully. I do feel a lot more alive and in the moment now that I dont have to "show up" for work every morning. My next goal is to find an economic activity that lets me stay this way while allowing me to sustain myself.

Nerdism runs in my family and I enjoy consuming knowledge over anything else. My interests are pretty broad, ranging from Spirituality to Crypto Currency, Weather Manipulation to Sumerian tablets, Geopolitics to Psychedelics.

Currently I am engaged in crypto mining while backpacking through India. I live in beautiful Vancouver since 2011, and intend to spend the entire summer camping around in the great wild north when I return.
