I think people need to start looking for decentralized solutions to the internet. Take a look at nexus earth the are trying something similar by putting small cube satellites in space to run there server. The founders dad is also doing the same but to provide internet service from space. that is out of control of government regulations

I remember reading articles like this many years ago about plug-in wifi network servers that could probably be adapted into a mesh network for decentralized connectivity. At the rate prices have fallen and performance has expanded, it may have potential as a bypass for a lot of web use.
