Squid Game star Jung Ho-yeon becomes the most followed Korean actress on Instagram

Squid Game star Jung Ho-yeon is now the second most-followed Korean actress on photo-sharing app, Instagram. She surpassed Lee Sung-kyung and Song Hye-kyo to achieve the feat.

Korean drama Squid Game has become one of the most-watched Netflix series worldwide. Needless to say that the cast members have also become quite popular. Actress Jung Ho-yeon's popularity has increased manifold after she appeared in the survival drama. She was seen as Kang Sq-byeok in Squid Game.

SQUID GAME'S JUNG HO-YEON CLOCKS 13 MILLION FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM

Recently, Jung Ho-yeon overtook Lee Sung-kyung and Song Hye-kyo to become the most-followed Korean actress on Instagram. She now has 13.2 million followers, while Sung-kyun has 12.9 million followers and The Descendants of Sun actress has 12 million followers. Before Squid Game's release, Ho-yeon only had around 400k followers on Instagram.
