The lesson I’ve been getting lately is to let go of minding so much about what people think, express myself even if nobody is listening. A lady came into my work today and I asked her if she was doing anything fun today. She said she was working on writing some poetry. She said she was happy that she was able to fully support herself just by doing poetry. I told her that I’m an artist and asked if she had any advice. She said to create what makes you happy and don’t spend your time trying to live up to others expectations.
