What King David had become was all because of the Lord Jehovah God and His plan to establish the family line of David to rule over Israel.

The God of Israel who freed this chosen nation from the bondage of Egypt had been patient enough even with the faithlessness of His people.

Now He commands David through Nathan the prophet that a house for Him must be built so that the great Lord Jehovah may dwell in it. In doing so God promised the shepherd king to pass this rule over Israel to his offspring.

The Lord had given king David more than he deserved as a shepherd to become a great king over God's great nation. In his awe and humility, he couldn't help himself but to praise Jehovah as one true God and that there is none like Him.

Recognize today the greatness of our Lord Jehovah God. His blessings will run through generations to come and will bless your children and your children's children.
