A Daily Dose: Be who you are!

Why do you feel sorry for yourself when people praise you? Is there a reason to not feel proud? When someone tells others how proud they are to have known you, you always stay quiet and only let out a smile.

You feel awkward and can't seem to find any words to speak for your side. And butterflies swarming inside you makes situations more uncomfortable for you. Maybe, I am just making up a story as well.

I know you are the kind of person who will never bother to think of what other people do. You only have time for yourself, and you're happy alone in your little world. You're that person who values himself more than anyone else.

But there are also times when I see you caring for others much more than yourself. You fully immerse yourself in giving your time and effort to help those who are in need. And because of that, you've forgotten how to refuse a favor even if it robs your time away.

When you don't have enough time, you still find time to at least do a favor. You were so kind that everybody remembers you in time of need. You're like a ray of hope that gives away sunshine and lights up the way to the path of solutions.

But why do I feel like you don't want what others refer you as? Sometimes, you seem like out of the moment. What are you thinking? You're so unpredictable that I wanted to know what is going on in your mind.

I want to know your reactions. I want to know why do you feel uncomfortable when somebody praises you. Because no matter how I weigh things, I can't come up with a reason why to not feel proud. Are you not happy? Is everything a lie? What is it that is making you do all these things?
