Taking a break with a snake!

Another beautiful day to get out and about with my lovely bride Stacie d (@freedomtowrite). This weekend we are having an amazing visit with some family that chased us down and came to find us in the trees. While we are hanging out, we decided take a small trip a bit east from where we are staying to check out a beautiful spring. Don't worry, there will be a post about that coming soon haha.

Today I want to share some pictures of a beautiful snake that we found while we were hiking around the spring. I believe it is a Northern Water Snake. I tried looking it up, but couldn't get an absolute answer. I am going to check more with my buddy @papa-pepper to see what we can get sorted out.

It was a nice chance to enjoy nature with the family. Whenever we get a chance to catch something, we do. It is always nice to catch something, get some pictures, appreciate it for what it is, and then send it on it's way.

There is a definite respect for all creatures in this world. It is amazing to think that we are all sharing this planet together, and that we all have a role to play. Even this little snake that we took time to enjoy today, it is doing something very important in this world even if I don't know what it is.

I am truly blessed to be able to go on amazing adventures and travel all over the US. I can't believe that I get a chance to be in nature, even for a little bit. I am looking forward to the next little trip out....maybe next weekend?
