Ohio high school senior who refused to participate in anti-gun walkout protest is SUSPENDED after sitting alone in classroom
An Ohio high school student was suspended after he decided to stay in school while his peers joined a national walkout protest against gun violence on Wednesday.
Jacob Shoemaker, a senior at Hilliard Davidson High School, decided to stay in his classroom as a form of nonpolitical protest and to avoid being grouped in with those who opted to walk out or stay in.
As a result, the senior was given a one-day out-of-school suspension.
The reason says 'Student refused to follow instructions'.
The school district says it's responsible for students' safety and they can't be unsupervised as the reasoning for the punishment.
'I can only confirm that no student was suspended for not walking out, nor were any suspended for walking out,' spokesperson Stacie Raterman of Hilliard City Schools said.
LOL, are you fucking kidding me? What a bunch of bullshit this suspension is. I'm guess this is what happened, kids had a choice to walk out and 'protest' or say in school in a supervised area like the lunch room or gym and refused to do either one.
So they suspend him for not following instructions aka orders. Which is bullshit because schools shouldn't be involved in politics they should be involved in education like this boy was wanting to do by staying in the classroom.
So who should be suspend here the boy or the teacher? I think the teacher failed the student and not the other way around. Schools and teachers should not be promoting one political agenda over another and they definitely should not be letting kids out of school so they can protest.
Congrats to the kid for actually wanting to learn while the teachers and everyone else fell for this fake protest and fake it was make no mistake about that if this wasn't a sanctioned school activity then I'm sure 98% of the kids would not of been taking part in the protest. I hope he sues the school for violating his rights and failing in their job to educated him and all the other students that missed school because of this gun control promotion because that's all it was was PR for the media to spread this message.
Complete and total bullshit he got suspended for this.

Our Purpose
His parents should now refuse to pay any and all local taxes, that are applied to schools. The school district not only violated the rights of the child they violated the inherent trust of the parents to provide their child with a proper education paid for by the taxation on said parents. That portion of all taxes paid should be immediately refunded to the parents.
If the individual that was suspended is of voting age, (18), then he should not only sue for the unlawful and illegal violation of his right to an education, but he should file a civil suit for defamation of character and loss of potential wages due to the permanency of school records any more.
It's not too late= Tax Day is just around the corner- let's ALL REFUSE TO EVEN FILE TAXES this year....

Sometimes I wake up feeling I shifted into another timeline or some CrAzY shit like that with all of these stories that keep popping up. I commend this young man for his actions and respect his beliefs. The school is wrong. Sounds like it time to take back our children ..... at least some of them have the balls to say no. I hope the parents stand with him.
