The Cannonball Suicide Theory DebunkedsteemCreated with Sketch.

The cannonball hypothesis is the most ridiculous theory surrounding Epstein’s alleged suicide. However, seeing as how this is forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht’s best guess on how Epstein broke his hyoid bone, I feel it necessary to debunk this theory outright. So, let’s get down to it!

  1. If you tie a sheet to the top bunk and want to jump with enough force to break your neck, you’ll first need to make sure you don’t land on your feet at the bottom of the fall.

  2. So you don’t land on your feet, you must do what we know in swimming parlance as the cannonball. That’s when you jump from a diving board and pull your legs up to your chest and hug them with your arms on the way down and into the water.

  3. To perform the cannonball maneuver, Jeffrey Epstein would have needed to jump high enough to have the time to pull his legs forward and get into the cannonball position.

  4. For the prior point to work out, there needs to be enough slack on the bedsheet and ceiling clearance to accommodate an upward jump of two or three feet. People do cannonball jumps from high dive platforms all the time. It’s possible to do it on low dive platforms too, but even low dive platforms are several feet removed from the water, so that doesn’t account for the upward portion of the jump.

  5. If you give Epstein enough slack on the bedsheet to perform a successful cannonball jump, he will end up breaking his tailbone on the fall instead of his neck.

In summary: If there is a dead body and we’re not being gaslit about its existence (which is something that I don’t have proof of), then we must conclude that Epstein died from neck compression, which means that someone strangled him to death in prison.

Sort:

Had he leapt from the top bunk there would be other injuries. His legs, knees, shins, etc., would have struck the floor with sufficient force to cause fractures or severe bruising given such a leap that broke his cervical vertebrae and hyoid bone.

No such injuries are reported. Neither would such a leap have turned off the camera(s), gotten the guards to falsify their logs, or take a nap. Other information posted to 4chan prior to public reports of his death claim other irregularities involving transport and at least one individual in military garb, also not properly logged. Additionally, neighboring inmates report shrieking from Epstein's cell at the time of the murder, further reducing likelihood of his death being a suicide.

It's theoretically possible Epstein killed himself. It's about as likely statistically speaking as you spontaneously becoming a black hole and swallowing up the Earth.

It's beyond a reasonable doubt if the information publicly available is factual that Epstein was murdered, and the two guards that falsified logs were involved. Charges need filing, at least against them, and probably far up the chain of command, probably to the warden. Tartaglione, his former cellie, has been implicated in the prior injury of Epstein, and proof of when Tartaglione was moved is necessary to establish he did not commit the murder, with or without encouragement from the institution or it's employees.

Given the severity of the injuries, the prior attack that only Tartaglione could have been present to commit, and other relevant facts of the event, it's quite possible that Tartaglione was used to assassinate Epstein under institutional cover. Tartaglione is obviously quite physically powerful, competent to apply sufficient force to break Epstein's neck.

As information continues to trickle out and contradict previous reports, those details continue to refine our understanding of what was possible, and what likely did happen.

Thanks!

Damn skippy, I'm not even sure I buy
the idea that he's dead to be honest.
Some of these details could be disinfo
to secure the illusion that he's gone &
effectively out of the picture. I doubt
that he didn't have a contingency in
the case he were to turn up dead u/
mysterious circumstances.

I cannot think of one good reason anyone with political power would have to keep him alive. Certainly none of those names in his black book wanted to hear their names associated with him at trial, and pulling those strings does not seem likely to increase the political power of the USG. Trump would be extremely politically harmed by charging and prosecuting Bill Gates, officially encouraging the charging and prosecution of Prince Andrew by the UK, or even going after much less politically powerful individuals such as Ghislaine Maxwell due to her obvious connection to Mossad.

Pretty much everyone wanted him dead. Honest folks just wanted him executed after a trial that enabled his criminal associates to be charged and prosecuted too.

As to a deadman switch, given the political implications of the matter, whoever was holding it is probably unwilling to die for Epstein, who cannot reward them for doing so now. Any former allies would be strongly encouraged to switch allegiances by extant circmstances, IMHO.

Thanks!

I'm inclined to think he was in league with or blackmailed
by multiple intelligence agencies in various nation-states.
That kind of opens it up a bit. Like any organization, leaving
the keys to the castle in one mans hands would be a mistake.
So if someone hit him out of general principle, when they find
out who did it, perhaps that will trigger a strategic release of info.

I don't put it by either of the agencies to burn him or have him hit.
So it's completely plausible that he was killed. However, if he didn't
also look out for himself.. I mean, anyone working for those agencies
would know that they cannot be trusted. Even the Google leaker was
smart enough to use a deadman's switch, & that may have saved him
at the time when the police raided him.

I'd like to know how his convo with the police was, if he told them about
the deadman's switch. That incident reminded me of the movie Antitrust
and embarrassed Google so much, that I don't think they're even willing
to publicly acknowledge that it happened. If they do acknowledge it then
explaining why they didn't do so earlier should be a challenge for them.
This one is so tough to call, it's just really hard to say with any certainty.
