FLYNN II

On December 16, 2018, General Michael Flynn attended court expecting that he would be sentenced to no jail time pursuant to General Flynn’s deal with Special Counsel Mueller’s Group, namely that Mueller’s Group would recommend that Flynn be sentenced to no jail time, in exchange for General Flynn’s plea of guilty to a charge of ;lying to the FBI.

The liberal “false news” media was agog with their report that Federal Judge Emmitt Sullivan mentioned “Treason,” thereby suggesting that Donald Trump might be guilty of treason.

It is not that they deliberately misstated what happened in court, it is simply that the liberal news media is too stupid to understand what happened.

It was clear that Judge Sullivan was upset with the Mueller Group, and was expecting Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea.
In fact, Judge Sullivan was so upset with the Mueller Group that Judge Sullivan actually invited General Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea.

Everyone was surprised when General Flynn declined to withdraw his guilty plea.
It is clear that General Flynn is so traumatized by threats against his family and the loss of his home and his life savings, that General Flynn would rather rely on his “no jail time” promise from Mueller than risk further damage from the Mueller Group by doing anything, which might upset the Muller Group,

Judge Sullivan realized that he was dealing with a man who was too frightened to do the right thing, even for his own good.

Judge Sullivan elected to chide the Mueller Group by asking the Mueller attorneys if they thought that General Flynn had committed treason
When the Mueller attorneys said that they did not believe that General Flynn had committed treason, Judge Sullivan asked the Muller attorneys what underlying crime had been committed by General Flynn.
That The Mueller attorneys were totally unprepared for this question, so they fumbled about for an answer, and finally, embarrassingly responded perhaps General Flynn violated the Logan Act.
Judge Sullivan dismissed that answer by saying, in essence, you mean the statute that has not been enforced since it was enacted over 200 years ago?

The alleged lie committed by General Flynn related to a telephone conversation between General Flynn and Russian minister Kislyak after General Flynn had been appointed to handle foreign affairs by incoming president Donald Trump.
(Unlike the obvious violation of the Logan Act committed by former Secretary of State, John Kerry, in Kerry’s meeting with the Mullahs of Iran during 2018, in an obvious attempt to undercut the foreign policy of president Trump)
The fact that the Mueller Group had the full transcript of the telephone conversation between General Flynn and Russian minister Kislyak was confirmed by the testimony of former FBI director James Comey during Comey’s testimony before Congress.

This fact raises several additional difficulties for the Mueller Group, namely:

1. Had the Mueller Group obtained a warrant to tap the phone of the incoming foreign affairs administrator the Trump administration?
2. Which government official authorized the seeking of that wiretap?
3. What was the name of the judge who signed-off on that wiretap?
4. What was the evidentiary basis for that wiretap?

1. If the Mueller Group already had the transcript of the wiretapped telephone conversation (which in fact they did), what information was the Mueller Group seeking when they “interviewed“ General Flynn?
2. If General Flynn knew (which he did know) at the time if his “Interview” by the Mueller Group that the Mueller Group had the transcription of the wiretap tape and the wiretap tape itself, how could General Flynn have intended to deceive the FBI with respect to information that the FBI as seeking?

If the FBI could not establish how they were deceived, the entire “interview” was nothing other than a shameful lie trap intended to be a basis for putting General Flynn into the custody of the Mueller Group for an unlawful interrogation,
Judge Sullivan must take these questions into his deliberations of the Flynn case.

These and other irregularities of the Mueller Group actions in the Flynn matter no doubt inspired Judge Sullivan to make the following declarations after General Flynn declined judge Sullivan’s invitation to withdraw his guilty plea.

Juga Sullivan declared that he was disgusted with General Flynn’s actions and General Flynn’s lies to Vice president Pence.

Judge Sullivan was delivering a message to General Flynn that he f(judge Sullivan) might sentence General Flynn to a substantial Jail term no matter what the Mueller group might recommend.

If General Flynn does not withdrew his guilty plea, Judge Sullivan would be hamstrung in his efforts to deal with the unconscionable, wrongful acts of the Mueller Group.

Then, Judge Sullivan reschedule the sentencing date to mid- March.

This gives ample time for General Flynn to rethink his situation,

Translation: Withdraw your guilty plea, and thereby risk the fact that the Mueller group might renege on their promise to recommend no jail time, or have me (Judge Sullivan) send you away for a long jail sentence no matter what the Mueller Group recommends. Your choice turkey!

We believe that Judge Sullivan is seeking to do justice, and that it is the Mueller Group which is at serious risk of being punished for their shameful, unconscionable, wrongdoing.
