Errors on the learning curve of preping : heavy load, watch you back - the fishes of hell - soil, soil, it's all about soil...
Heavy loads , watch your back
A crititcal noobish mistake... when in the arrogance of success believing that this mission is over, and just this to move there, the falling happen... hurt... hurt... and for days...
This is a serious warning, then things go critical very fast, for example a vaxx team can start to trail you down...
concretly, as you know, I have my growing experiment (salad 1 is rooting like mad, leaves too !?! but the iceberg died and the potatoes have gone leafing (nice))... and to not scratch the soil and in the arrogance of strengh being at the end of the mission, I decided to lift a big container of soil while already doing the rotation to the direction I wanted to go... and it happened... yes I could have reduced it by lifting properly from the knee up, but... I didn't, simpler would have to simply push it on the ground, even using a tower to protect from scratch, or move crab style (lifting half and moving in scissor)... but no... I didn't...
And I paid dearly... 3-4 days... serious...
the fishes of hell
Second time in 3 months... I suck, I am stupid, I hope to have learned in diahreas and vomits.
The first time was before the pandemic was really impacting my life, I had buy a cheap DISCOUNTED END OF DATE piece of fish precut in a box in the supermarket... It was good until the next day they said, I cooked it the day before (date of buy) and got a massive food poisonning...
I thaught that I had learned my lesson... it was clear, no more dirty DISCOUNTER END OF DATE (SHELL LIFE) fish for me...
And no...
What lead me to eat some PAST DUE DATE smoked organic salmon? I believe that has it was smoked it was less suscptible to food rotting (technically bateriaes and others stuff growth) but no no no... respect the SHELL LIFE DATE on fish... trust me on this... I KNOW now, at least I hope...
to be honest fish poisionning is less terrible than oyster poisionning, but it's really in my case 36 hours of low avaiablitly...
and to save a few quids, what a fucking idea... should have simply used it as expansive fertilizer... I know... it would have been cheaper...
soil soil soil...
seeds really do like soft soil... having some compost or soil bags can really come handy... I had a little flower pot with some industrial soil, and there everything sproot to life hyper quick (even if it was old and forgotten) and the contrary my super soil from the forest carried for miles, has a tendency to become hyper hard and compact itself massively making hard layer for plants to pierce but potatoes (those are fighters).
Conclusion, multi learning curve then death :).
may the luck and force and wiseness and smartness be with you preppers and may your choice concerning any medicaiton of vaccines be always be respected as it's the first basis of liberty and freedom.
