Well also think about some of the biggest people supporting socialism, communism, and Marxism. They tend to be uber rich corporate heads who know that if any of those ideologies are implemented by the Government that they will become the Government backed monopolies with Guaranteed business and no competitors. Some of them are close to that already.
It's all about Totalitarianism... total control! It doesn't matter what shape it takes as long as "they" have it!
rich has a point...we tend to focus on the democong because they are the most egregiously hatefilled and open of the bunch, but I think we all realize that the deep state, huge portions of the country club repukes, and every slightly bent local politician are going to be digging in to defend tyranny
