The War on Julian Assange and Free Speech Is a War Against Us All

The war on free speech takes many forms, from the overt censoring and imprisoning people who tell inconvenient truths such as Julian Assange, to more subtle and covert methods such as using methods which in any forum other than the internet would be considered bullying... we'll get to that later. First I want to focus on Assange himself. The "crimes" that he's accused of committing- other than the trumped up sex charges pending in Sweden, where Muslims are typically given a pass for much more hideous transgressions- are all centered around one thing... reporting news that criminal regimes including the United States find uncomfortable. After all, can you imagine turning on CNN and finding out that the land of the free and home of the brave is committing genocide? For telling uncomfortable truths, Assange has been charged with crimes including espionage. Since when is telling the truth espionage?

Only in an unthinkably draconian nightmare- a totalitarian regime unparalleled in cruelty- can telling the truth be considered a crime. There's a reason that freedom of speech (all speech) and freedom of the press were included in the first amendment... they are the most important of out freedoms along with religion and the right to peaceably assemble (also under tremendous threat). Assange advocated "if you see something, say something," and gave people a platform from which they could report the truth. The only people, or regimes that are afraid of the truth are the ones with crimes to hide, or power and influence to lose. This is not only true of governments, but of internet platforms where the truth may present a threat to many agendas.

Currently Assange is being held in a hellhole in the UK named Belmarsh where he appears to have undergone "enhanced interrogation" a polite term for torture...

Recent reports from Belmarsh indicate Assange is in bad shape and unable to communicate with his lawyer. It appears “enhanced interrogation” (polite speak for torture) has broken Assange psychologically and physically. Like whistleblower David Shayler, Julian Assange may be permanently damaged. After spending time in Belmarsh, Shayler claimed to be Jesus Christ in crossdress.

This is a statement recently released by Wikileaks on Twitter:

The death penalty for telling the truth... this world has indeed turned into an Orwellian nightmare. The ironic part of this travesty of justice is that both the Us and Uk are signatories to the UN Convention of Human Rights and Britain to the European Convention of the same name. This would be the first time in history that a publisher would be indicted for espionage. If this happens it could have chilling repercussions not only for the truth, but for alternative media sources that report anything other than the government approved narrative... that's all of us in the truth movement. This is why it's absolutely critical that internet platforms exist that abjure censorship of all and any sorts. The fact that Assange is being tortured should also raise concerns... if it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone who dares to speak the truth.

If Karen Kwiatkowski and her sources are correct about the chemical torture of Assange, Britain is in violation of the 1998 Human Rights Act under article three of the European convention on human rights.

A government or any other entity, corporation, social media platform, etc., unchecked by facts and the truth is no different than Germany under the Nazis, the USSR under Stalin, or China under Mao- the only distinction lies in size. "Sunlight is the best disinfectant," and the only ones afraid of sunlight are vampires and other parasites sucking the lifeblood of truth from an unsuspecting public. It is critical that these entities, regardless of size or power be exposed and that can only be done through freedom of speech. According to Assange himself, this is much bigger than just his situation- this is something that affects us all.

In a handwritten letter from Belmarsh prison, Assange says he is being denied a chance to defend himself and that elements (government officials) in the United States that “hate truth, liberty, and justice.” Assange says that the U.S. government wants him extradited and dead for telling the public the horrifying truth about their government.

The American public not only has a right to know, they have an overwhelming need to know the depth of the corruption in their government. They've been sold down the river by globalist ideologues and opportunists.

As Wikileaks co-founder, Julian Assange’s health is deteriorating in a British prison, but the journalist was able to get a letter out to the public.  In the war on freedom of speech, Assange is asking everyone else who stands against corruption to take his place and keep speaking truth to power.

The likelihood of Julian Assange seeing the inside of an American courtroom to defend himself is nil in my opinion. When he was dragged out of the Ecuadorian Embassy, I called him a dead man walking... he knows far too much about too many high-level people to allow him to live. He'll likely die of "illness" in Belmarsh prison. Even in the unlikely possibility that he does get extradited to the US- the chips are heavily stacked against him. In his own words:

I am defenseless...  Everyone else must take my place...  The US government, or rather, those regrettable elements in it that hate truth, liberty and justice, want to cheat their way into my extradition and death, rather than letting the public hear the truth, for which I have won the highest awards in journalism and have been nominated 7 times for the Nobel Peace PrizeTruth, ultimately, is all we have.

If Assange is brought to America and prosecuted, the likelihood of Trump being re-elected is next to zero. The patriots in the truth movement are his base... and the vast majority are believers in Assange. That means that Assange would have to survive until after the November 2020 election in that UK hellhole. From everything I see, his health is deteriorating fast. We cannot, we must not allow the truth to die with Julian Assange in a British prison. It is up to all of us to carry on the fight. As I said in the title this is a war, not only against Assange, but against free speech and all of us who hold it dear. If the truth is taken away, the dark forces win. Ephesians 6:14 tells us:  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

Again in the Gospel of John, Jesus tells us:  And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (8:32) And yet again in 2 Timothy 2:15:  Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Without the truth our civilization is lost- the elites pushing corruption and lies know this well. There is a reason that the devil is called "the father of all lies," those who manufacture false narratives do the bidding of the evil one. It is up to all of us to expose them for the liars and charlatans they are. We may not be able to save Assange, but we may yet save the truth. But, our adversaries are many, powerful and cunning- to find them we need look no farther than the internet.

Google, the search engine used by most uses algorithms that show the mainstream narrative first and thus bury the truth under an avalanche of propaganda. Twitter and Facebook have algorithms that censor truths outright, showing only the narrative preferred by the powers that shouldn't be. Many others follow suit. There are other more subtle forms of censorship as well- Steemit has their whales who flag content with which they disagree making if difficult for purveyors of truth to have their material seen. In the case of the "Big Three," Twitter, Google (and its adjunct YouTube) and Facebook there is an ideological consistency- Facebook, for example is just a continuation of Lifelog, a surveillance tool developed by DARPA. In the case of Steemit, the management claims no ideological ties, but allows the high-dollar accounts to bully smaller ones, causing them to either become discouraged and leave, or disappear from the feed due to numerous flags.

Whether the subtle and covert censorship on Steemit is allowed purposely, or just the result of feckless and cowardly management disguising themselves as "blockchain free speech advocates," in the end is irrelevant... censorship is censorship. If WeKu is to survive, it must not go the way of Steemit where a few powerful accounts control content. There are only two sides in the war on free speech- you're on the side of truth, or you're one of the bad guys. Like Julian Assange said, "truth, ultimately, is all we have.
