I interviewed Tom Fife, extensively, twice about his contention (the source for this rumor) that an appartchik's wife told him at a party in Moscow, long ago, that we would have a black President. He mentioned two other people (Americans) BY NAME that were there with him at the time. I tracked both of them down, and neither will collaborate his story..

Now, they both could be lying, but...So could Fife.
