As time goes by, more countries express regret at their involvement in the NATO-led intervention in Libya. Norway was the last in line…

US wanted to prevent Gaddafi in his intention to introduce the gold dinar, and make a bloc of African countries that would rival the European union and BRICS. They did destroy Libya, but did not achieve the goal — trust in the dollar is steadily decreasing. So much so, that Obama had to accuse free riders (Britain and France) for the disaster (Oh, BTW, and he accused Hillary for Syria).

Sarkozy attacked Libya wanting to get for “Total” a bit of oil “cake” that Italian ENI was grabbing. Backfired tragically, with millions of illegal immigrants all over EU, and a great deal in France and Italy.

But what did Norway get? Recently revealed Norwegian state report says the officials “had very limited knowledge” of what was going on in Libya, but promptly decided to join the US-led intervention. And they were richly rewarded. According to Johan Galtung they got — Secretary General of NATO!

Norway used six F-16 jets making 596 strike missions from March to July 2011. They’ve made 10% of NATO strikes that year. And now they regret. Well, it is not enough. In a civilization, someone should be tried for the war crimes and the crimes against humanity. Until then, we only can count this as a technically highly developed savagery.
