BREXIT: Big Bang on the Wet Island!
As George Galloway expected, Tories won the snap General Elections 2019 by a landslide. Now we are going to get Brexit done, right? Well…
Actually, it was not only George Galloway who expected win of Conservatives. It was clear since the moment… but let’s remind the readers on the real reason for this snap elections, and the main options.
These GE19, as it was said, had a character of a second referendum on Brexit. After three and a half years of bamboozling people with scary stories, false dilemmas and deal-no-deal shenanigans, everyone wanted someone who could finally deliver Brexit. Someone like Nigel Farage. But, knowing that he doesn’t stand a chance of majority in the UK electoral system, Farage willingly sacrificed his party, practically giving his voters to Boris in hope he could deliver Brexit… Yes, Jeremy Corbyn was in labour, but he couldn’t deliver at all. Too many Blairist midwives there. A look at the offering before the voting started:
- LibDems (Jo Swinson): Remain
- Labour (Jeremy Corbyn): Referendums until remain
- Cons (Boris Johnson): Get Brexit “Titanic success”… by changing two words in May’s Treaty!
- Brexit (Nigel Farage): No compromise Brexit, WTO conditions
Don’t get me wrong, there were other loonies at the GE19, and they were much more fun…

…but they didn’t get enough deserved media attention. So, did the turkey really voted for Christmas? Let see…

So, the win of Conservatives was expected since the moment Nigel Farage has sacrificed his party to Johnson, because the key element, the decisive factor in the mind of voters was Brexit. Corbyn didn’t realize the significance of it, and BoJo was the only option left with the simple promise: Get Brexit done! And Jo and Jeremy were blown into the political void with a big bang! Should we be sorry?
Why we shouldn’t be sorry
Because they are all Cons, and not only Conservatives. LibDems are not Liberals (since long ago) nor Democrats (since refusing to accept referendum results). As a consequence, Jo lost her seat to SNP! Well deserved. Labour was hijacked. It does not represent UK working class since Toni Blair. Jeremy Corbyn never tried to cleanse the party from the destructive influence of Blairites. He had a chance with Brexit, and showed true colours when he refused to follow the will of UK people and half of his constituency. A con! Jo & Jeremy had to step down. The greatest Con, BoJo, at least had one fulfilled promise: “We will be Carbon free by 2050, and we’ll be Corbyn free by Christmas!” And then look at SNP… they are threatening with a new independence referendum — so they could give that independence immediately to EU! Incredible! And Farage pulls the whole party of disgruntled Brexit voters, and then turn them all, like sheep, to Boris! Makes you think wasn’t it better to vote for Count Binface, Lord Buckethead, or Militant Elvis…
What can we expect?
Ah, the big question! You think remainers will be stopped by such a petty thing as democracy? You don’t know them! The fine tuning and implementation of May-Johnson Treaty with EU will easily last much longer that Bo-Jo’s mandate. A new set of pressures & manipulations is already prepared. Furthermore, truth is harder to hide from the people. See a few YouTube comments under the video above:
