Of course that should be course of action. Especially after the worthless Nunez memo which was obviously partisan and had nothing in it of substantial value. Trump traps don't seem to be too difficult. Imagine how bad he must be when his own lawyers are strongly advising him not to testify because he's likely to commit crimes by knowingly saying falsities (a.k.a. lying).
Unfortunately, I don't think Trump has been painted into a corner as he doesn't give a damn about stepping on paint at all and most of his supporters wouldn't give a damn if he was walking around their living room leaving paint-stained footsteps. :)
