Why Did the Terrorists Fail in Syria?!

A weird but intriguing question, the one in the title of this post, some are asking out of curiosity only and others, especially those with black souls, are asking it out of depression and disappointment.

It's no secret that the West under the US command and many under its hegemony have invested heavily in the numerous terrorist groups sent to Syria, we've learned that Qatar and Saudi alone invested over $138 billion until 2017 only, yes you read that figure right: 138,000,000,000 US dollars paid for hundreds of thousands of terrorists brought from all sides of the world to kill the Syrian people, and that's just by two absolute monarchies Qatar and Saudi and as per the confession of former Qatari Prime Minister on his own country's state TV channel.

So why did they fail? They had advanced weapons, superior intelligence, vast funding that entire of Africa would have been turned into heavens with less than that budget, and more?

A member of Quora's wiki Q & A social platform asked this question: Why weren't the rebels able to win against Assad?

Without analyzing his intentions I left him a reply to his question, most of my points are no secret anymore to those following the news on Syria by now, but still many are still brainwashed. I'm copying my answer to him there below:

Despite their crazy number of hundreds of groups, literally, that reached more than 350,000 in members over the past 8.5 years since they started appearing Syria, and despite their vicious crimes against the Syrian people, the defeat of the terrorists in Syria can be credited mainly to the heroism, bravery, unity, and determination of the Syrian Arab Army, the main faction that fought them on the ground, and the sincerity of some of its allies, especially ‘Hezb Allah’.

Added to it the help the Syrian armed forces received from the locals in areas infested by terrorist groups, it was essential in intelligence to pinpoint strikes against gatherings of the terrorists.

The terrorists might have found some support in rural areas but never had any support in the cities except in some neighborhoods by intimidation, the Syrian population are very secular and against such radicalism brought in by the US-sponsored terrorist groups and CIA trained commanders of ISIS and Nusra Front and others.

The terrorists were supplied with state of the art western weapons of all sorts, they enjoyed air coverage by the US, Israel and the US-led coalition, which numerous times attacked Syrian forces fighting the terrorists and the most infamous incident occurred on Thardeh Mountain overseeing the city of Deir Ezzor, where the US fighter jets were bombing an SAA post protecting over 120,000 civilians in the city from the nearby hill, the SAA lost 83 of soldiers and officers and the bombing allowed the advancing ISIS terrorists to run over the post for a short period of time until the SAA managed to clean it from them again. That time the Pentagon issued an apology which was uglier than the act itself since their fighter jets continued their bombing of the SAA established and well known post for 55 minutes and the Russians were in contact with the US command…!

The early heinous crimes of the FSA (Free Syrian Army), or call it Free From Syrians Army, has stunned the vast majority of the Syrian people and solidified the people’s support behind their armed forces.

Inspired by the cannibalism of the FSA when a Free Syrian Army top commander named Abu Saqqar carved out the heart of a slain Syrian soldier and ate it before camera.

British journalist Robert Fisk who attended one of the battles reported that the Syrian Army are fighting an unwinnable war, and they’re winning it. That by itself gives an idea about the morale of the SAA soldiers and determination not to let these criminals slaughter more Syrian people.
