More Bank De-Regulation?!? Fed Proposes Axing the Volcker Rule

After rolling back much of Dodd-Frank, which was put in place to guard against another financial crisis, the Fed will propose on Wednesday to make changes to the Volcker Rule. This rule limits how much the banks can engage in speculative trading of things like stocks and bonds, decreasing the risk of the greedy banks to cause another financial meltdown.

As I mentioned in a previous post, with an over-inflated stock market already, America is being set up for a financial disaster. In the short term, however, this should be stock market positive. This solidifies my belief that we will see a rising market through midterm elections.
