A waterfall located in this Bogor region is said to be a place of descent of an angel. The reason is that when after heavy rain, often appears a rainbow that the local community believes as the descent of the angels from heaven. And the locals believe that the rainbow is a bridge from heaven through which the angel to bathe in the pool of the waterfall. But of course, it's just a myth.
There is another opinion the waterfall is called an angel, that is because the source of water from this Angel waterfall comes from a collection of natural springs that are in protected forest areas, the water flowing very clear, clear and fresh. The waterfall falls into a natural pool, so named waterfall is Bidadari or in Sundanese language called 'Curug Bidadari'.
Actually, nature tourism in Bogor has long been a tourist attraction, more or less since 10 years ago, but only crowded in the visit by tourists after near the waterfall about 40 km high, built elite area that is Sentul paradise park. And now the management of waterfall Bidadari has been held by Sentol paradise residence, a private company located in Bogor. Slowly but surely, they have added many facilities in the waterfall area Bidadari for the convenience of the tourists who visit. The cost to go to the waterfall Bidadari was quite cheap. Visitors simply pay 25,000/person on weekdays and 40,000/person for visitors on weekends.
The route to the waterfall Bidadari is quite easy. From the Jagorawi toll road, exit the south of the toll gate then turn left and continue until there is an oblique road deviation to the left, it will pass housing in the Sentul area until finally enter the village road. Approximately 1 km close to the location, the asphalt road is pretty much damaged, be careful !. The facilities available are quite complete, ranging from dressing rooms, toilets and well-maintained bathrooms. For visitors who bring children also provided a shallow pond in front of the waterfall as a place to bathe and have fun for children.
It's just the way to the location of the waterfall Bidadari already much damaged and for now, has not been repaired, the road is paved but still hollow and narrow. Hopefully, the future of the local government to pay attention to the hidden paradise infrastructure in this western Java area, making it more comfortable for tourists who visit.
