La Liga Results Spain: Barca Feast of the Goals, Madrid Duo Hold

JAKARTA - FC Barcelona picked up a massive 5-0 win over city rivals Espanyol in the third week of the Spanish La Liga Primary Division at Camp Nou Stadium on Sunday morning (10/09/2017).

The Catalan catamaran, which was watched by 72,857 spectators, also became the stage for Lionel Messi who scored three goals and a sweet debut for Barcelona's new player, Ousmane Dembele, who contributed one assist.

These 3 points adds Barcelona firmly on top of the Spanish league table with 9 points, wiping out the first three games with a win, while Espanyol are stuck in 15th place with just 3 points.

The Blaugrana host led 1-0 through a typical Lionel Messi action that dribbled aggressively into the Espanyol defense box then fired a shot that was not too hard, but accurately entered the goal on 26 minutes.

The Argentine star brought Barcelona double to 2-0 after receiving a pass from Jordi Alba from Espanyol's left-hand side on 35 minutes.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid were forced to a goalless draw by hosts Valencia. These results are similar to the achievement of Real Madrid champion who held 1-1 draw at home to Levante.
