RELATION BETWEEN INDIA AND MALDIVES

MALDIVES is an archipelago. archipelago is nothing but group of islands.
the bond between Maldives and India is weakening day by day. IN 1988 INDIA lead a operation cactus and saved Maldives from capturing by a group of people. but recently dynamics have changed in the country. china started its embassy in 2011 and just after 6 years china is able to sign a free trade agreement with china.
India have not done free trade agreement with Maldives.
Maldives announced emergency in the state and asked to remove the two Indian helicopters which guard the coast and used in times of emergency.
Indians are not given work visa .
Maldives is just 500 km from minicoy island a part of Lakshadweep and it is 700 km from kawarthi.
india have funded for medical and engineering colleges earlier.
in 2011 GMR was given grants for the construction for the airport but after that in 2013 they are thrown out of the country and not allowed for the airport project.
India have to deal with the situation positively and should not loose its ally.
