Indian chef in world's top 5 restaurant

Gaggan Anand an Indian chef and the owner and executive chef of the progressive Indian restaurant Gaggan in Bangkok, Thailand. Clincht the 5 position in worlds top 50 restaurant list.

On Tuesday by an influential list compiled by #British-trade-magazine Restaurant, beating out top eateries in Spain and France.

Chef Gaggan Anand has consistently transformed his tasting menu, developing conversation-starting dishes like the spherified Yoghurt Explosion and creating a dining experience that reflects the warmth of Thai hospitality in Bangkok.

Osteria Francescana first won the award in 2016. Spain's El Celler de Can Roca, which took the top honour in 2013 and 2015, came in second while third place went to Mirazur in southern France.
