Watching him on TV as a 7th grader to the class teacher of 7th graders- M.S.Dhoni hasn't changed a bit!
This man, M.S.Dhoni was playing in indian cricket team when I was a toddler studying in class 7. Now, almost 13 years down the line, I'm the class teacher of class 7 in my school. MSD is still playing energtically in the Indian side! I remember watching his 183* knock against Srilanka as of it was on yesterday! Who can forget him hitting two sixes in the last two balls!
Today he led India to the historical win on the soil of Australia with his natural quite and calm approach
No surprise he is called 'Thala' (head) in the southern part of India. For me, MSD is not a mere cricketer, but an emotion attached to my entire early, mid and late adolescence and early and mid tweens.
