It is easier said than done!

The caption of this article is one of the most common proverbs used by every one of us. We frequently use this phrase to indicate if the work one is gonna get into is going to be really difficult unless he works his butts off! It is really true in many aspects. We don't realize the glitches associated with them in general until we jump into them.

Today as I was teaching about sources of energy in class 10, I was fascinated by learning the ease with which we can implement the renewable sources of energy in our households. For example, the biogas plant can be constructed with a bare minimum effort. The windmill can be implemented if your house is in an area having the wind with high-velocity. The solar panel is yet another source of renewable energy which can contribute to help reduce global warming. In whatever way possible, we ought to reduce carbon dioxide content in our atmosphere in order to facilitate a smooth living condition to all living organisms.

Despite having prolific awareness about the matter, people still refuse to implement such systems due to so many reasons. The excuses they give to this regard by and large are 'lame'. People say that money is a concern. But you just can't say it when governments increasingly subsidize and encourage the use and implementation of renewable sources of energy.

The problem is with people and their long-programmed mindset. When I tried my level best to convince and implement a biogas plant in our home, the reaction I received from my family members was not that smooth. They actively discouraged me from it pointing out the disadvantages of doing so. The expected bad odour was one reason and untowardness to keep a waste disposal mechanism near to home being the other!

Even though all students showed enthusiasm and volunteered to make the production of renewable energy sources a part of their life, I'm sure that It is easier said than done!
