World's Largest Mobile Factory In India

South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived in New Delhi on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during will together launched the world's largest Samsung Electronics mobile factory in Noida plant on Monday.

Samsung Electronics Co., opened a brand new 35-acre electronics facility at Sector 81 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has been built at an investment of around Rs-4,915 crore. A helipad adjacent to the factory has been made in as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in. Samsung announced the investment to expand its Noida plant and the new facility will help Samsung double production in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the South Korean president travelled to Noida for the Samsung factory launch on the Delhi Metro.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said four lakh direct jobs have been created as the number of factories making mobile phones increased. "Today is an important day in making India a global hub of manufacturing, he said, adding that the investments in such factories are a cornerstone of India's economic and commercial engagements with countries like South Korea. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Indian economy, the fastest growing major one in the world, as well as a vast expanding neo-middle class offer unlimited opportunities.
