India celebrates its 71st Independence Day right on August 15, 2018. The country was free from colonization of British colonialism in 1947. Various Indian leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose to Jawaharlal Nehur participated against England at various different times. Their actions helped bring independence to India.
Indian Independence Day is usually enlivened by various processions, celebrations and shows throughout the country, where the capital city of Delhi is the center. Usually, celebrations are officially held at Red Fort.
